Sanchez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, along with senior corporate counsel, leading law firm partners, and business executives. Join us for the Annual Bay Area Judges Reception on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5:00PM-7:30PM! We will be celebrating the appointments of Julia Cervantes and others to the bench, and the retirement of Judge Suzanne Bolanos.

Hearty hors d'oeuvres and drinks are included. The reception is open to members and non-members.

Annual Bay Area Summer Reception (with mini panel)

Join us on Wednesday, June 11th at 5PM as we welcome summer associates to the Bay Area.

The program will include the panel, "Roadmapping Part I: Career development strategies for young attorneys." This panel will help young attorneys develop strategies for the early part of their career.

The First-Generation Mock Interview Program demystifies the on-campus interview process for first-generation law students and helps them prepare for OCI, the Bay Area Diversity Career Fair, and the upcoming interview season.

Join us as we kick off the summer and welcome junior and summer associates to the Bay Area! Meet with other diverse summers and attorneys, and build community in the profession. 

The reception will also include a the mini panel titled:  “.5” The Art of Billing Your Time. This half-hour panel will provide best practices and strategies to help summers and newer associates on how to properly, effectively, and ethically bill their time. The panel will include diverse perspectives from attorneys who have mastered the art of billing in both litigation and transactional matters.
